Data Zoom Amazônia
Data Zoom Amazônia is a thematic layer of the Data Zoom project and is part of the Amazônia 2030 initiative. It aims to democratize access to all sources of social, economic, and environmental microdata of the Legal Amazon region and to develop an open, accessible, interactive and parameterized data visualization platform. The project has enormous potential to impact informed policymaking in the region and to train a new generation of researchers and students.
The datazoom.amazonia R package allows for the access of a myriad of treated data sets related to the Brazilian Amazon. Data extracted using the package fuels our interactive data visualizations.
